Authentic Swedish Baked Delights

These are like a Cinnamon rolls made without cinnamon, but we use cardamom instead. These can be found in every Swedish home!

These are called Dream Cookies because they are as lite as a cloud and melt in your mouth. 

3) Cardamom Cinnamon Braided Glazed Bread (Kanellängd)

A beautiful, braided bread with butter, cinnamon infused with cardamom and glaze with pearl sugar atop

A dense rye bread with molasses, orange, fennel, delicious with anything

This is the National Cake of Sweden! 3 layers of sponge, a layer of custard, a layer of fruit jam, heavy whipping cream, covered in Marsipan (almond paste) and topped with a rose! This cake serves around 20 people

6) Coco Balls (Cocosbollar) 4 ct

Cocoa, butter, sponge cake, and different flavorings and toppings, Three flavors, Orange, Coffee, and Arrak. Each is rolled in Pearl sugar or chocolate sprinkles.

This is an Easter dessert! (I can make anytime) A lite cardamom bun, filled with Mandelmasse (almond paste) and vanilla cream, topped with a bun top and powdered sugar. The bowl is then filled with hot milk to melt the ingredients as you eat it. Yummy!Swedish
